Default Cleanest LT1

Here are the pics of probably the cleanest engine bay I've ever seen, it belongs to a friend of mine and we just took the first few pics, better pics will be up soon.

It looks great ! I know how time consuming a project can be to make look like your LT1 engine bay. It sometimes takes more effort to make things look good stock than doing all the bling stuff.

Good job !

Yes, a lot of effort has been put into this car, the underneath is just as impressive, not everything hidden just spotless. Its a 383 H/C car, put down 412 RWHP through M6. He re-routed everything you can think of and got rid of both heat and air, he still drives it every weekend to party's and such, and he could make it a daily driver if he wanted since he didnt go that extreme with the set-up but he's so finaky about keeping everything clean, including the underneath, that he wouldnt be able to drive it every day. Has had a lot of problems getting it running also but it was well worth it. It has taken right at about a year to do everything.

Wow, I usually think that the LT1 isn't exactly the best looking engine around, but that is NICE.

His wife works at a body shop and so her company painted the engine bay, hood, and high-speed buffed the car (I'll get pics of the entire car soon). They painted the cowl pieces and we have been trying to find out what kind of paint they used since we too would like to use that in our own body shop for some of our cars. Most of the plastic pieces under the hood have been covered in carbon fiber, not paonted, what's not painted or carbon fibered is probably brand new
