I need one of these:
I used a members pic for reference. It's that metal piece that sits in between two lines that goes to the top of the waterpump. Any ideas?

I believe you have to purchase the whole heater core inlet/outlet hose assembly. GM part number 10261147 for a 1995-1997 LT1.
[Edit]
I don't know if you can order it separately, but the silver bleeder housing is GM 10262478.
Personally, I'd also probably look into just cutting the rubber hoses in that location, and install a simple barbed T-fitting in that location. You'd have to get creative to install a bleed screw of some sort, or finding another way of bleeding that hose -- but it would sure beat paying $50-80 for a replacement heater hose assembly.

the silver hose part is discontinued by GM, i called my dealer today to check. I am thinking of just cutting the rubber line that I have and just running straight tubing with a barb joining fitting to connect the two hoses, so basically, I would have just a hose setup, no bleed valve. What is the purpose of the bleed valve? Do I even need one? No one seems to use theirs and I never used mine.

Its neccessary to properly bleed air out of the coolant system. Thats one of the highest points in the system, and air will naturally get trapped there. Air in you cooling system is not good.
You need the bleed screw.

correct me if im wrong, but isnt that a heater hose. If so, theres people not running any heater hoses so they must bleed it out some way. And to be honest with ya, every car iv done coolent work on i never blead it out, just left the cap off and let it idle for a few mins and i never had a problem.
