Default 99 Z28, worth the buy?

I was just looking for some cars for sale and noticed a blue 1999 Camaro Z28 6-speed. Tell me how much you guys think this car should be worth and if it's a good buy.

The car has 33,500 mile on it. It has LT headers, (not sure what kind) SLP intake, apparently the 1LE model, (whatever that is) he also just changed the master cylinder and has a pro 5.0 shifter. The car was garage kept for a while, which is why the miles are low. He says he changed the oil and used mobil 1. No t-tops, no power windows...Interior is decent, no rips, but not extremly clean. (it looks a little worn) The paint has 1 scratch somewhere on it.

So, how much do you guys think it should be? I'll tell you what it's selling for afer you give me some numbers. This way, you have nothing to compare to.

I don't think I should be posting this here, but it seems like a lot of people read this section and I want LT1 owner opinions as well.

I posted this in another thread as well.

Thanks guys.

low miles, I would think 13-16 max

I have seen some that have been crazy expensive though, nothing would surprise me.

It is a 99 though. Which makes it 7 years old...I think kelly blue book is only 8500 or so with low miles...

True, but its a 1LE (Kinnda Rare) and 6 speed with low miles. It may only BB for 9k but hey could easily get more for it.

How can you tell if it's a 1LE? The car is going for 11,000.

I looked on a web site (not sure if its accurate) says only 74 99's had the 1LE option.

The "1LE" designation is an RPO and would be found either on the drivers side door or the glove box.

this might help you too

I couldn't find the advantage of having a 1LE. Does it have more suspension mods or something? I don't understand why a 1LE car wouldn't have power windows or doorlocks...I guess that doesn't matter though. (or maybe it doesn't have it to make the car lighter)

The advantage is less weight, how much Im really not sure.. It has a better suspension (Bilstein shocks ), no donkey tube on the elbow (I think) Hardtop (Some 02 had t-tops I heard) and manual everything. Biggest thing about them are they are rare.

I don't know, what do you guys think. The car has nitrous hooked up to it, but he says he has never used it...The car has FLP headers on it that are rusting. (They have been on the car since around 2000)

The car also has a cut-out and is very loud. It shifts really good and feels healthy, but the fact that the car has nitrous hooked up to it makes me think it was beaten on. He told me he took it to the track a few times a long time ago.

He isn't lieing about the car sitting though. There are spider webs on his muffler, lol. It's a dynomax muffler, but what gets me is that it started smoking out the muffler. After the car was on for a while, white smoke came out of the muffler. But, when he opened the cut-out no smoke came out. Smoke was still coming out a little from the muffler. I think something might have been burning in there, but it weirded me out.

I looked on the door and it didn't say 1LE anywhere. He said he ordered it as a 1LE and his friend new how to interpret the code on the side. I took a picture of the information on the side of the door. If anyone knows how to research it, let me know.

Thanks.

Did the smoke ever go away? White smoke, not blueish white? Post the pic if you have it. It should say 1le On the door or in the glove box.
