Default Best place for tune at this point??

I want to give my car a tune because after the 4,10s my miles are crankin by, and boy does it ever rev the 2-3 shift. But at this point I only have mods in sig, so I dont need a very deep tune. Whats my best bet to get it tuned cheap??

You probably could pick up a used Hypertech programmer for not all that much money and that would be allow you to make the changes you need. No need for a dyno tune at this stage of the game.

Wrong answer.

A mail order tune will be cheaper and better than any hypertech nonsense, plus it can actually gain you power.

For the lack of what he has done to the car, it's not worth a mail order tune. You probably could pick up a used Hypertech for under $100 easily. With a Hypertech, he has the ability to change shift points, tire height, etc. You can only do that once with a mail order tune... unless you plan on getting mail order tune after mail order tune. There is no way that a mail order tune will get the shift points right.

Trust me... I am not a big fan of the Hypertech, but back in the day when my car had the basic bolt ons, I did notice an improvement in performance.
