Ya a friend of mine has it, search for a post of mine awhile back on the dyno numbers, over on camaroz28.com

Personaly i dont like it , it made 400rwhp lean as crap, it had no torque down low compared to my le2 setup . Just buy the cam from bret and you will be better off .

the mechanic is an idiot when it comes to matching cam's to heads. the cc305 is way to small for those heads....it's a great cam for stock untouched casting, and it's old technology.
unless for some reason you're worried about emissions, i would go with AT LEAST the cc306....but as mentioned earlier, i would just have brett grind the cam to match the heads.

305 might pass emissions i thought it required a pretty good tune...a 306 can i thought on a great dyno tune...but i agree i run a 306 on stock heads and the orque is there with a stall...the power is up there with the cam...i woulda gon 306 with heads prolly an gm847...**** you know what while lloyd was doing my heads i would have got a custom cam from him....hmmm good idea...an extra 50 bux...he coulda put springs to match with everything checked all by one person....

a guy or two on cz28 hit 400+rwhp or something with the CC306 and LE1 heads. I've got a CC306 on stock heads right now, throwing on a set of ported stock valve units from Jason Short and we'll see what it'll do in 2 weeks. I think there's a thread or two of guys running the LE2 heads with CC306s but i dunno where it was.

I was running that setup last year on my 350 shortblock before doing my stroker. I was running LE2 heads, cc306, 1.6 NSA rockers, 58mm tb, stock Water pump, Pacesetter LT's and borla catback, 93K on the motor. It made 383rwhp and 365rwtq running very rich (just on a mail order tune). I would have loved to see what it would have done on a dyno tune, it should have easily made 400rwhp. The car felt quick and had decent street manners, the combo really came to life at 3500+ rpm through 6500.

There are probably better cams out there than the 306 but it really works well on n2o. I have run 121mph N/A and since I found some valvetrain problems I was having it should do better than that. Plan on running a converter with 3,500+rpms. Later Clint

I made 400rwhp with the LE2 heads and the LE2 cam.

The numbers would've been higher if I installed the cam correctly by degreeing it. I made a thread about it on CZ28.com, check it out.
