Default Single Plain w/ IntakeElbows.com set-up

Who on here is running this set-up?
Im thinking about ditching my 90mmTb and 100*elbow and going with this set-up.
How much more does it clear? It looks to be atleast 1" or so.
Anyone know?
How much more streetable is it than going with the 90mmTB?
any other info would be appreciative.

It would be much more streetable than the 90mm and 100 degree elbow if you have the stock PCM. If you had a FAST XFI or BS3...it would not matter.

I wish this was available when I did my conversion.

I've seen this new setup and consdired using an AZ&M mono blade, last TB I'd ever use on it would be a POS Holley, learned my lesson after 2 new Holley's, they're junk. I figured the 90mm would be a much higher flowing setup than a 58, even a mono, wouldn't this be stepping back from going with a bigger TB???

The monoblade will flow 1300 cfm. The 90mm will flow 1150 cfm. The 58mm flows around 1000 cfm. You will never need more than 1000 cfm unless you are reving to the moon and pushing 1000 hp+.

Tony, do you know anything about the clearance that you would get with it?
It seems it would be more than using the 100*elbow.

Not sure. I would call them and have them measure how tall their elbow is. Then compare to your 100 degree elbow.

I just wanted to take a second and say thank you for planting a seed of rationality in this thread early. Now maybe it won't turn into a "I won't belive anyone that says I don't need an overly large TB" uphill battle.

I think im going to go ahead and save myself the trouble and go with that elbow and an AS&M 58mm TB.
So If anyone wants my elbow and 90mm TB let me know.

Good choice Jason. You should be able to sell your brand new T-body and elbow for what you have in it.

No kidding , excited the monoblade flows that much (even if it is overkill) considering I have to give my buddies 58mm BBK back to him (loaner to replace the Holley crap).

Why are the Holley TB's junk? I have been running one for two years and it works OK. It does have a whistle to it but works great for cruising and WOT. Later Clint

Is your car up and running?
If so how does it clear for you?

They stick open, this one is two months old and takes excessive time to idle down. Second go around with the same problem, as it turns out several have had the same issue, it's something to do with their mainshaft design from what I've read. Sent my original to Holley and they said it was a design flaw & sent me a new one...same problem.
