Nice to meet you, opinions needed
Hey everybody, I just joined a little while ago. Anyway, I am in the middle of a v6/lt1 swap and I want to get your opinion (Streetfire.net guys want me to go for it). This is a Z28 I am looking at for $4800 firm:
Granetelli MAF, SLP 1 3/4" Shortie Headers, 3" Y-Pipe, SLP Loudmouth Exhaust with a Performance muffler to quiet it down just a bit, Bosch 26# Fuel injectors, Chrome CAI (some off brand, but it works nicely), LT4 knock module (although I am not sure if ION left it in the PCM when he sent me a new one that was reprogrammed?), Madz28 Tune (through Ion), New Poly Eurethane Tranny bushing, New tranny with upgraded Zpacks (600 horse rating), Tb Bypass, Richmond 3:73 gears with master install to replace all bearings in rear end, 160 degree thermostat.
Rk sport covers for EVERY light on the Car, carbon fiber nose badge, Vinyls from Brent franker, New Opti, New water pump, new rotors, new rear jounce bumpers, new performance plugs (bosch +4's) and wires, new belts, new battery.
Go for it?

I would say $4500 would be a fair price for the car. Nice color, pretty rare. 110,000 isn't too bad. Inside looks like it could use a slight cleaning. If it runs good, and you like it, tell him $4500 or go and find another one.

when it gets to cars in this price range its hard to say if its a good deal or not. condition plays a huge role. there are tons of these out there in poor condition.
if its in really nice shape 4800 is a decnt deal imo. again its nothing i would jump all over but its not bad.
