Default Nice to meet you, opinions needed

Hey everybody, I just joined a little while ago. Anyway, I am in the middle of a v6/lt1 swap and I want to get your opinion (Streetfire.net guys want me to go for it). This is a Z28 I am looking at for $4800 firm:

Granetelli MAF, SLP 1 3/4" Shortie Headers, 3" Y-Pipe, SLP Loudmouth Exhaust with a Performance muffler to quiet it down just a bit, Bosch 26# Fuel injectors, Chrome CAI (some off brand, but it works nicely), LT4 knock module (although I am not sure if ION left it in the PCM when he sent me a new one that was reprogrammed?), Madz28 Tune (through Ion), New Poly Eurethane Tranny bushing, New tranny with upgraded Zpacks (600 horse rating), Tb Bypass, Richmond 3:73 gears with master install to replace all bearings in rear end, 160 degree thermostat.

Rk sport covers for EVERY light on the Car, carbon fiber nose badge, Vinyls from Brent franker, New Opti, New water pump, new rotors, new rear jounce bumpers, new performance plugs (bosch +4's) and wires, new belts, new battery.

Go for it?

he spent 2000 on a new tranny, 500 on new gears, and I don't think you can find a good refurbished performance inhanced camaro like this for less

Thats way ******* high. I didnt see a year on it either. And most rebuilt 4L60Es cant handle 600hp unless a very experienced trany builder did it.

I would say $4500 would be a fair price for the car. Nice color, pretty rare. 110,000 isn't too bad. Inside looks like it could use a slight cleaning. If it runs good, and you like it, tell him $4500 or go and find another one.

Damn I thought 4500 was cheap as **** way ******* high? Do these cars depreciate that quickly? What are they worth now like $500.00 bucks?

when it gets to cars in this price range its hard to say if its a good deal or not. condition plays a huge role. there are tons of these out there in poor condition.
if its in really nice shape 4800 is a decnt deal imo. again its nothing i would jump all over but its not bad.

Seriously. If anything you would think that they would have a decent value because they are not currently in production. (notice I didn't say no longer) My car is in awsome condition and I wouldn't let it go for even 6k. But I'm not selling it, and thats just me.

Ok, so it is a 1996. I have been looking for an LT-1 for a while now. With all the work done to the engine and tranny it pays the asking price.
