Why cant I just Delete my ac compressor without adding a pully?

Default Why cant I just Delete my ac compressor without adding a pully?

I haven't been under there yet with this idea to look, but is there anything in the way that would keep one from just taking the compressor off and using a smaller belt?

No point, more work than its worth, the 1le pulley makes it really easy, reuses the stock belt and everything. Look under there and tell me after that if you still think its worth it. Plus you can get those 1le pulleys cheap used.

Yea, just figured a belt would be cheaper than a pully. I wanna de-clutter my bay and get rid of this inopt ac system, without taking any money away from " fix the door " fund

you couldnt do it for the fact where the belt runs on the bottome where the pulley is supposed to be... thats where the tensioner puts tension on the belt so without the pulley it wouldnt be able to put tension... its not that expensive to do... 35 bux and your good to go...

its not possible to just remove the ac and use a smaller belt....from the tenchioner to the alt it would hit the p/s

ac dlete pulley easy..sell your compressor and make up forit
