Default Wierd pops from rear hatch/suspension

Ok. Well a month after i bought the car i got rear ended. No visable damage. Body looked good and everything was fine (cracked tail light and slight damage on rear bumber, bumper moved a bit. Nothing real big).

Well now (bought the car late december) when i come to a stop or creep forward (or begin driving) I hear a weird poping from the rear. It sounds like someone poping their knuckles against the rear window...

It happens when i stop, creep, and start. Sometimes it does it over a bump (but only one pop usualy).

Any ideas?

more than likely thats it... you hit a speed bump or something and the trunk is lifting up... probably it...

If I jack up my rear, I get a popping sound from the right side, and the car tends to lean to the right a little. Time to get new springs/shocks!

possible... but its hard to go off that much info.... on things like this your just going to have to check all you suspension parts while jacking it up and see if anything is bent or rubbing or whatever...

I just replaced my PHB, and my LCA's. I don't see how they could be bent or ruined already.

i put it on a lift and pushed the car up and down and didn't get a single noise... i can only get it to do it while driving...

I think its mostly the hatch... i dont know why it ouwld pop mutiple times though. It pops like someone pops all the knuckles on their hands
