Default Gas fumes wont quit!

I posted about this a little while back. I am really hunting for ideas. It seems that my gas tank/ fuel system after it shuts off remains under alot of pressure, witch I assume is typical. However, the car releases way to many fumes after it is parked. When I put it in the garage it will stink my entire house of gas fumes. The gas cap is unvented (is that how it should be?) and the little white "pressure release" type valve under the car near the drivers rear tire seems to operate. I opened it and cleaned it, the spring loaded portion with seal seems to be fine, it takes a fair amount of pressure to open it, but I assume this is how it should be, and it can only go inline one way. I am out of ideas, but its making car smell like a gas leaking POS. Any ideas where to go from here?

When my car was running rich, do to header gaskets leaking. The garage would have a fuel smell(afetr parking). Is the car running well, any black smoke?
Just an idea

Sounds like something wrong with the evap system. There is a valve near the gas tank that should release excess vapor pressure to the charcoal canister to be absorbed there. If there is a leak somewhere in that part of the system, or the valve isn't working, it could be causing the problem. Otherwise a leaky gas cap or bad fuel sending unit seal would be my next guess.
