360-380rwhp I hope your car is modded already. If not there is no way a stock LT1 with just a cam will put down that much power.

Don't give a cam that big a crappy 12" stall, at least not if you want to go fast and have the tranny last.

Hey I know, have them put in writing that the work is free if it doesn't make the horse power...My guess you'll have a free cam job ....I wish you could put in a cam in a AUTO car with "NO" supporting mods and make 360-380. Hell, from 230-240 stock RWHP that is one mean cam Maybe they mean flywheel horse power!!!!!

Oh yeah, that seems like a decent price for a tune and cam job (just blank out there horse power claim)...In our neck of the woods 1100 would be good...depends on area...

Seems about right price wise. A little optimistic about the power estimate though.

Stall seems low...especially for a cam with that duration.

FYI, even with supporting mods, a big cammed stock headed auto will only put down 330rwhp or so...

I think 1800 is a little high for that.

how would that 12 inch with that cam affect the tranny? this opposed to a 9 inch? er i think that is the aftermarket size

also cCris1109 why did you go with the bigger injectors? spray?

The higher stall 12" converters are not as efficient and do not offer the torque multiplication of the good 9.5" units. The lack of efficiency causes heat and they weight is more abuse than the tranny needs. Talk to the truely sucessful 4L60E builders and you will be told over and over again go with the 9.5" they are easier on the tranny.
Also talking a 20lbs easily rotating weight savings which is alone worth it.
