Default Whos heard of this happening?

My power steering pulley shaft snapped in HALF.... and shot the pulley out forward..

A bolt that holds the pump on stripped the bracket out on mine and caused it to go sideways, trashed the belt, and cut a coolant hose.

I once broke two water pump shafts back to back on a Gen 1 350. I paid a lot closer attention when I put it back together the second time, and found a bent pulley. After replacing the pulley, I never had any more troubles with it.

Well one of my spark plugs just popped off still attached to the wire. Try that on for size, lol

its happened to me before.. i was doing donuts on some old crappy nittos and the shaft snapped in half and power steering fluid went everywhere and the belt popped off all frayed and stuff so i jsut got a new pump and pulley and belt.. works fine now.

Had a buddy in a 2000 Z28 do it as well as my brother in his 98 SS... both doing cookies, both snapped out of the pump... woo go GM

had it happen on an old work truck years ago broke the fan and shroud i keep on driving till i got it back to the farm i worked at i was to embarrassed to stop it was a real piece of junk, funny thing about it my boss sold it 2or3 months later the guy who bought it spent 2 years restoring it and won several trunk shows with it

How the hell does the pully shaft snap.. or bend? I have seen some ****, but not that..

Never, but I snapped my tb cable on launch at the track, no one had heard of that happening oh well its fixed now.
