Default Broke My Opti Need Some QUICK easy Help!

Okay guys I was replacing my water pump and if you are looking at the opti head on, you have 8 little barrels facing down diagonally 4 too each side then you have one facing like 1 or 2 oclock. I broke that off pulling the WP off. Do you think I could epoxy it back on until I get my MSD cap and rotor?

Temporary fix Yes. Depending on where the break is and how clean it is you should be able to still run it.

That's the opti terminal for the coil wire.

I'm not sure how the Optispark's dielectric-plastic (rynite/alkyd?) cap would handle it, but have you ever done any "plastic welding"?

I guess you have nothing to lose at this point. Worst case scenario, you can go buy a new cap/rotor from the local autoparts store to hold you over.
