Yea, like they said... if you do much highway, watch out on the 4.10s you will be crankin pretty good. My car is a daily driver, however I only drive about 5 miles a day for work and its not highway. Either way.. the gears are gonna give you a serious jump. Good luck on the 12's

I have to laugh about all the talk about high RPM's on the highway. I have a 95 Trans Am and have run 4.10's for a couple of years now. I drive this car everyday it is not broke or being upgraded. I drive 25 miles one way with the cruise set at 73 MPH and turn just under 2100 RPM. I now have a set of 4.56 that will be here on Tuesday that I will run the same way. I recently drove a newer Grand Prix and although the car was bone stock the RPM that this car was turning on the highway at the same speed was around 2200 RPM. I am sure that the auto are turning higher rpms but it can't be that bad.

ill get a 12 or 9inch later on down the road but for now ill just stick with my lil ole 10 bolt. i found a brand new set of 4.10 gears and master inastall kit on ebay for about 200 give or take and i traded my friend my xbox and all the stuff to go along with it for his auburn hd posi unit out of his old 10 bolt cause he went to a 9inch so i figured what the hell i might as well try it out.. and ill be running with DR's not slicks.. i didnt want to see the outcome of that lol

Heres what it'll look like...
Edit**** Ah crap. Mines a 6 speed, so nevermind. I reread it and it says he has an A4, so that will not help him.
4.10's in an A4 is going to bring your rpms way up there.
