Default Recommend me a cam!

Ok well it looks like I'll be using a different cam for my car but I need some help. This is the stuff I have now:
CC XE 227/233 cam with a 560/569 lift on a 1.6rr (114lsa)
Trend Performance 7.2 Hardened Pushrods
CC SA Pro Magnum 3/8 1.6rr
CM-612 Valve springs (fit stock head without machining) good to .600” lift
Ultra Lightweight Chromoly Valve Spring Retainers
Hardened valve locks

I was going to run this cam but I found a truck that I want and the seller wants all these parts plus a little bit of cash. He is giving me a deal that I can't pass up! Anyway what cam do you think would work best for me? I don't have emissions so that won't be a problem. I was thinking a cc503 but I want to go a little bigger than that but smaller than a cc306. All this without a custom grind preferably.

I want a nice deep lope with over 350HP. This is my daily driver so I don't want to go overboard. This will all be going in a full bolt-on 94 T/A and the heads will be gasket matched and casting flash removed with just mild porting and cleaning up. Am I being realistic or are my goals too high?

You goals should be met if your a M6 but an auto, you might come up short. The cc305 on a 112lsa is one of the best "off the self" cams and you wont have to spin the motor over 6K to make all the power of the cam. It has about the same power band as a stock cam but improved all the way through the power band. It makes VERY nice Tq. numbers of stock heads and with the 112 you get a good tump. I believe Ed Wright was also telling me about a 218/224 cam made by crane that he's seen LT1 cars freak out with.

My car is an M6 so that aint a problem. I just don't want to spin over 6500. the 503 is bigger then the 305 right?

Comp Cams "305" Camshaft: 220/230, .510"/.510", 114 LSA (Lift is With 1.5:1 Rocker Ratio)

Comp Cams "503" Camshaft: 224/230, .503"/.510", 112 LSA (Lift is With 1.5:1 Rocker Ratio)

The 503 is on a 112, as opposed to a 114. you also get just a bit more intake duration. lewt me know if i can help you out!

Last summer we put a CC305 is my friends 97 M6 T/A I liked it, car ran good drove great. Then we put a(just like the one you sold except the LSA) 227/233 560/569 111lsa. In my 97 formula M6, my car drove just as no driveability issues at all. And would consistently beat his. Both cars had identical bolt ons, except he had a moroso CAI and I had cutout my stock box. We both had hooker LT's I had true duals with 2 chamber flows. he had ORY and a cutout. I loved my cam I didn't see any real loss in highway MPG and never had a problem with drivabilty, car sounded great, well both cars did but mine had a little meaner lope. I would highly recomend this cam

I don't actually have a link but I do have the lift numbers. On 1.6 RR's the lift is at .544 and .555 with a 112 LSA

you could run more lift (up to about .600)....though you dont really need to if you're gonna use stock heads. Whats the duration? kinda need that to tell you much more
