Default Clutch & Flywheel Question

What Clutch & Fkywheel combo Are you LT1 Guys using?? I would like it to hold around 500rwhp. I hear Spec's are junk and the mcleod twin disc is a little too much right now, so im looking for that middle clutch & flywheel that will hold a decent amount power & good for a DD.

well the guy before me had it put it... he "said it sat" for 3 weeks before i bought it. and i think he dicked around with the car after it was put in.

he complained about shifting problems after it was put in too.

I just put in a new Fidanza flywheel and a Centerforce DF clutch and it's fine, only has about 100 miles on it though. Haven't abused it yet either. I am afraid of the talk I heard about breaking it in. A few more trips to work and back and I'll get cocky...

I will be running an LT4 PP (available very cheaply several places) along with a Single McLeod Disk, and a Kevlar Pilot bearing.

If you do it piece by piece yourself, you save a lot of money and get the exact same thing as if you ordered a whole McLeod single kit. The only difference is the paint on the PP.
