What do you think about this shifter handle....
I saw this in a mustang at a car show and it looked soooo nice and I was thinking about getting one.
How is a pistol grip compared to a ball shift **** for a daily driver. Is it a pain in the butt to use? Is it harder to shift?

I'm not a big fan of most aftermarket shift ***** unless they're plain and simple. If that's you're thing, then it looks good and comfortable, but I'm not digging it.
I'd think that particular design would get annoying to use while shifting a stick, for an auto it may not be too bad since you're hardly ever moving the shifter.

I have that in my 1997 Camaro, M6, and i don't like it. I have a shifter and that ****, and when i go to hit 3rd- i always hit my volume button with my knuckle and out of no where, my radio starts blasting and it scares the **** outta me..

Oh man, I have that on My '97 T/A and I love it. It's really comfortable for daily driving and even more for drag racing. I dont have a problem with My hand hitting the stereo cuz I have an aftermarket head unit. The only complaint I have is that It gets really hot when My car is sitting in the sun for a while. Other than that I love it and I know You will too. Plus it just plain looks badass.

Yeah it is a tad bit long with that stick. But as I mentioned in another thread It works pretty well for Me cuz My reach isn't all that long. Also with that lil' bit of xtra leverage My powershifts are dead on. I might try a shorter stick to see what kind of difference it makes.

I opened up the post and was wondering, I just caved in a couple days ago and went out to summit racing and bought the polished alumium one and put it on a couple days ago. I love it, just has a totally different feel to it when you shift. It looks awesome too, I have a short stick, so it sits a bit lower than the one in the picture. It was not cheap though cost me $62 from summit.
