Me too. My question is theyre listed for 92-97 LT1's but I thought the 92-93 T/B's were different for the kick down cable?

they prolly have an interchangeable throttle linkage... Personally I'd rather have a bored stocker powdercoated for less than the cost of the summit one.. Not that it matters but I wonder why in the pic the throttle blades are mounted on the wrong side of the arm they mount too..

52MM *stock bored and ported* $170+ Shipping (NO airfoil, $40 refund if you send stock TB back)

I am thinking about buying one myself to match the alread52 MM stock intake.

stock intake bores are 54mm.

IMO if you're wanting to buy a bored stock unit, buy from one of the best.

The powdercoater is a close friend of mine as is the porter is a friend, and lets just say he doesnt own $60k worth of powdercoating equipment for nothing....

52mm....not 54

and the TB you showed is much better comes out to be about 8 dollars more in the end but it comes powder coated and is much cleaner, I will be purchasing one from him in the near future.

might want to go out and measure them. They are indeed 54mm. AS&M didnt make a 54mm TB for nothing...

HH you might have to get ahold of him and ask if he has any 93 cores laying around. On stock units, not sure if you can switch the throttle linkages around.

guess i have to prove it now...

"The LT1 and TPI manifolds are already bored to 52mm"
-taken from http://www.xtremefi.com/QA.htm

"The stock LT1 intake manifold already has 52mm bores"
-taken from your friends ebay ad http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/52mm...022713002QQrdZ1

people do make 54 thats just for higher hp/blown/bigger cubes same reason they also make a 58

I will go out and measure it sometime, but Im pretty certain the bores on the intake are indeed 54mm. but we're arguing over a 2mm difference

But there are a few people who will concur with my 54mm measurement (quick search yielded so.) We'll have a measuring contest

GM lists the gasket as 54mm. and I don't remember there being a gap on the intake when I test fit the gasket with bolts.

the stock bore on lt1 intake manifolds are 48mm, and on lt4 intakes they are 52mm. i bought a 52mm ported stock tb and port matched my intake to 52mm. no serious power gains, a little better throttle response and a few hp. i bought the summit polished 58mm for my new engine, not even gonna bother putting it on this one. looks like a nice piece.

Those numbers are probably correct but for the TB itself. Don't know about the LT4 but the opening on the LT1 manifold is larger than the TB bore as far as stock goes. Be it 52 or 54mm, I'll let the others hash that out.

Far as the 93 cores a 93 has linkage for a kickdown cable and the IAC circuit and actual servo are different, I have a spare 93 circuit with the servo should anyone need them, not looking to get rich off them either they just came on a used BBK 58mm I bought.

My spare intake is "modified" but memory says stock is 54mm and the LT4 intake has the same size bore. Wish people would get aclue and STOP projecting all these false wonderful differences upon the LT4 intake.

I've been wondering if these Summit branded ones aren't just the Professional Products throttlebodies rebranded and marked up a little. They have the same linkage setup and the same finish options and such. If so they're copies of the Edelbrock/BBK TB made in china supposedly. I've been thinking about trying one of the Proffessional Products 52mm TBs (they're about the price of the ported stockers I believe), but with any Chinese copy of US aftermarket parts I'd like to hear from someone who has one about quality first. But I have yet to find anyone who's purchased one...

Stock bores are 52mm, I had a 52mm tb and I actually trimmed the gasket a little to make sure it didn't stick out.
