i got a 58mm tb for free today. Its not gonna hurt anything putting it on right? I am sprayin the car so i can see it helping a little bit. I do plan on doin heads/cam later on but in the meantime, this isnt gonna hurt me other wise right? I figure ill pull off the intake and port the intake holes behind it to 58mm and bolt it on. I read a lot of threads of how there pointless on a stock motor but like i said, i got it for free so i might as well put it on right?

It won't hurt anything. Make sure that you put everything on it as it is setup on your stock one. Now is a good time to do the TB Bypass if you didn't already..

you dont have to take the intake off to port it if you dont want.

how would i safely grind it out without getting a lot of metal shavings into the intake?? have a vaccum by it, lol. its not hard to take it off, plus ill have it cleaned up and look "bling" before i put it back on.

you wouldnt happen to have an extra tps sensor lying around now that there is an extra tb would you? I need one, my 58mm tb didnt come with it and neither did the stock one
