put in a high flow cat or a bullet muffler.

im guessing you have a loudmouth? if so, I hate to tell ya... but stock manifolds and cat(s) are just about the only setup that catback seems to sound good (and reasonably tame) with.

try the GMMC exhaust, and a 2.6 60' is sad, you need some practice, not givign you a hard time though, a t56 is a different beast than an auto with a stall that you can flash. practice. you'll get there.

if you have a LM you might want to look into gettin a LM2 resonator. thats what im running with edelbrock headers and ory, i love it. mellow under normal driving conditions but, loud as hell when i get on it. or you can do a borlamouth. i've always liked that sound. slap a borla xr1 where the resonator is now and youre set.

as for the popping...get a tune...itll help get rid of the pop.

the LM2 resonator is pretty cheap...but that might be a little too loud for your likings too. just throwin out options. hope whatever you decide to do works out for you man.

I have a LM2 resonator and i love it. If your looking for loud thats the right resonator for you. like lmz28 said, its mild in low rpms, but when you get on it your gunna know for sure your on it.

That is definitely something to look into. to be honest though, i prefer my tires bald at the track lol. just my personal opinion though. 2.6 60' is pretty bad, cange em out and then see what is up. I ran a sub 2.0 60' bone stock, in a 6 speed. You can do it, i promise.

Sell the loudmouth to someone else who doesn't know better yet.

Go with almost anything besides the loudmouth.

And it'll never sound like a C5. C5 has a long straight exhaust with a crossover allowing both duals AND equal lengths.

You ever compared a dynomx bullet and a LM2? They are practically identical. My plan for a system like that before I got my GMMG (wasnt going to pay 750 for an exhaust but i got a kick *** deal) I was going to get a LM system replace the resonator with a chambered muffler, and put 2 more one where it runs sideways going towards the ds outlet and another between the rear bumper cover and axle on the ps. Just an idea, its very similar to the way stainless works did theres but again, thats even more expensive

Judging by how low your car is, and your modification list, your problem is your suspension setup. I don't know what you mean by lowered trailoring arms but what you should look into is an Adjustable Panhard Bar and some LCA Relocation brackets. That should help compensate for your lowered car and help get it off the line a little better.

i think the susp. is pretty good the way it is i just think i need tires i have the stock 245s on and both of them are bald past the little rubber line i got a 1.80 60 foot in my friends car but i couldnt get my car anywhere close to that i really need a tune or something bad becuase my car smells like **** all i smell now is gas ever since i took the cat off it was pretty bad before but now its way bad

i raced my friends srt-8 its the awd one he has a ported manifold exhuast and intake on it and he ran a 13.063 and we raced from a roll and a stop and i beat him everytime when we race from a dig i pass him at about 70 and get a good cars legth on him so to me it feels like the car is alot faster then 14s

i have another question do you guys think i should take the hypertech out and change it back to stock? or set my redline to like 5900 instead of 6000 maybe that will help me out a little? i was thinking that maybe my car starts popping after 5,000 rpms becuase first off its already prob. time to chnage it and maybe its making it worst by having the programmer on and putting more spark thru it?

just a thought
