Default What Hood For My 396? Pictures and Poll Inside.

Okey Fellers, here is the deal.

I need a cowl hood for the single plane because the stock one will not fit with the new intake.

Im having a really hard time making the decision.

I would like to shave some weight off the front, but i drive the car on the street more, so 10lbs VS looking ghey, ill take the 10lbs.

I will still be on Salad Shooters for the street, maybe next year ill get some street wheels.....

Here are my choices:

VFN 2'' Cowl-
Here it is on a stock looking LT1, this is a downside to me because i think it looks like total ****....


Glasstek SS Hood-


Harwood 2.5" Cowl-

And finaly OEM SS Hood, i have no pics but we all know what it looks like.

I dont like the lines of the SUNOCO on the LT1, they just dont flow.

My spoiler will stay the same until I fall into the apperance money pit. Im only changing my hood because it has to be done.

Harwood looks nice...

But....




Im sorry, I like the 4" Cowl Hood.
All she needs is a little paint.

I want something I can see when Im driving down the road.
If im gonna do it, im going big.
