Default Lt1 Opti Delete?

you guys ever heard of the mod to upgrade your car so you dont have the opti-spark set up? I saw it on one of these boards. Is it any good? worth the money? does anyone know what i am talking about?

You saw a Delteq or LTCC. You cannot delete the optical part of the opti. Mabey one day we will have a opti delete but I dont see it happening.

You need to have the optical part have a signal for the PCM...

Yep, sorry I was just thinking about it and wrote the basic reply.. I was thinking about what if there is another type of trigger for a stand alone ignition system... N/M sorry burned out from a long day...

It depends. It's another option. It's worked ok for some and not for others. I "myself" wouldnt go that route. I went with a Dynaspark because it's proven.

jsut keep with the opti... it is not half as bad as people make it out to be.

I got the msd and love it. Its make room for timing adjustments and has a good design. I never messed with the timing but the distributor all together works damn well.
