Default Better Brakes???

I have access to a totaled 2002 SS Camaro and I planning on buying the bigger brakes and installing them on my 95 Z28 and I was wondering what all parts I would need to do a full conversion for all 4 wheels. I believe right now I have 10'' disc and the new brakes are 11''?

Thanks in advance.

you only need to do the front.. not the rear... you need basicall the the spindle and everything attached to it.... it fits right in...

The LT1 Brakes are 11"x1.0", with a Steel single-piston Caliper. The LS1 Brakes are 12"x1.3", with a dual-piston Aluminum Caliper. They are a nice upgrade, and if you don't have front ABS, they are a direct bolt-in.

What about a conversion from LT1 F-body brakes to C5 brakes or C6 Z06 brakes? And is there a way to keep the ABS?

The way to keep the ABS is to switch out the LS1 Hubs with your LT1 Hubs. You have to take it all apart. As far as the C5 Brakes, someone makes a bracket that bolts on to the LS1 Spindle. That is another nice feature.

I bought my C5 brake conversion kit from byunspeed.com. You also need C5 front brake lines to make it fit too.

yea... and for the LS1 fbody upgrade you need the same, i think the lines are close but the bango bolts are different..
i looked up the hubs... they are the exact same for 93-02 Fbodies... so you can keep your hubs and retain your ABS..

The Hubs are the same, but the Sensors are different. I don't know the specifics, that's what I was told when I switched over mine.

I am just going by what I was told. I don't have ABS, so it doesn't really matter for me..

I thought the LS1 had new calipers in all 4 wheels there called BOSCH or something like that.

yes they do... but the rear has a drum and hat design... the ebrake is inside the rotor as to the LT1 ebrake works through the caliper... and the bolts dont mate up for the rear brackets... your rear brakes are fine... just need more stopping power up front..
