Default killing optis

Well i put in a msd distributor the whole thing not just cap and rotor. And the module went out on it. when it would get hot it would cut out and the car wouldn't run. So then i got the distributor warrented and had a good mechanic i know put that one in. and i also put on a msd coil and msd plug wires. Also put on a new ignigtion module. at this time. That was all last friday the 16th the car ran good all week althought it felt a little week on the top end. Then tonight it it didn't start, then it did start and i went to drive it and it was fine for a bit and died. and would start put wouldn't rev and sounded like crap. It seems like the same thing as before when the module went bad. What do you guy think could be killing the modules in my car. Could it be the computer or what. I am getting very mad with my car. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

If the coil, opti, module are all new, I'd check the opti wiring harness and PCM. You might have a loose connection in the harness.

When you put the new ignition module on did you know that you are supposed to put dielectric grease on the bottom of the module to conduct the heat out of it?

yeah i put dielectic grease on it and cleans it all up. The wiring harness is built into the msd unit and and runs up to the connector. It does not disconnect at the opti.

check and see if you over tightened any thing if you have an aftermarket cam did you cut the pin drive down enuff to allow clearance at the back of the opti drive shaft this can cause to much pressure on the opti input shaft forcing the bearings to move out of spec ant the rotor to read wrong and then it will break.
