possibly, every car is different. why not just do it anyways and save yourself from the trouble of guessing whether or not your losing power?

The LT4 knock module is mainly necessary for roller rockers or headers, but it's cheap and easy no matter what your mods.

Do you need to replace the sensor or the module for this ? I have a '94 C4 A4 with shorty hedders, and LT4 RR, and hadn't thought to do this. Thanks.

Would the LT1/LT4 knock modules fit the 96-99 vortec truck computers. I believe the computers have the same shell etc. and I was thinking about putting an LT4 module in. Also, how much should you torque down the knock sensor on the side of the block? Thanks.

the Lt4 knock module is only for lt1s or lt4s. it fits in the pcm where that plate with two screws is. i have 1.6 rrs and had a loud tap when hot. the lt4 went in, and no more tapping. quiet is good.
