coolant problem lt1 bird help me please can some one please help me with this here is the deal i just bought this 25th anniversary trans am it has 76,000 miles on it but its been sitting up for about 5 years these are its symptoms smokes a little when accelerating posably becasue it needs a tune up but the main problem is it is getting extremely hot and gushing coolant out of the resevoir tank and i have bleeding it and and it still keeps gushing from the resevior and i have put a new thermastat in and the same thing still but it may have something to do with the little bit of smoke coming out of the pipes when accelerating please help me figure this one out its killing me thanks

Was the coolant drained before puuting it in storage? Seems like head corroded and now coolant passage and cobustion chamber are connected and that is putting pressure in the cooling system.
