Defog sw won't stay on long enough??

Defog sw won't stay on long enough?? Now that it's getting colder I've had to use my defog switch but it only stays on for less than a minute. I had a extra switch and it also does the same thing. My other vehicles the sw. stays on until the glass has completely cleared so I know something is wrong. Any ideas??

I had the same problem and did the same thing but it ended up being the circuit breaker. I replaced it and it worked fine for awhile but started acting up again so now I have a 30 amp fuse in its place. I have read elsewhere thats what alot of people do instead of messing with the CB. Also, when you pull the breaker out check the contacts and clean if needed.
