Big clutch problems, big questions 2000 LS1 Pressure plates work in a 97 LT1?

I have my clutch totally fried out

My friend has a 2000 Z28 6spd he just changed his clutch out and he has a very decent pressure plate and flywheel that I want to use
Can this be done? Please help

LS1 Clutch compatible with LT1 clutch?

Wont work, is LS1 hyd.and LT1 is manual. Lt1's pull the PP out while LS1 push the PP forward.

manual??? the slave cylinder is on the outside of the trans. but ya the ls1-lt1 setups are completly different.
