Default Compression question

Ok I just talked to lloyd elliot about my 383, and he said use a flat top piston with a -4 or -5 cc valve notches if going N/A. This
will put you in the 11.8-12.1 CR range with a .035 quench using his LE3 package.

What is the safest compression for 93 octane? Do you think I will be ok at that compression level?

You will be fine. Monitor detonation when tuning it and set the timing at the best power with safe air/fuel and zero detonation.

I ran pump gas 93 octane on my last engine with 12.5:1 compression.

Cool I was a little worried, as the stock compression is thought as high. I am feeling better now.
