Default Help! What goes behind my intake manifold?

Looking at the engine from the back (it's on a stand) to the left of the EGR there is a U shaped dip in the manifold with a bare bit of block exposed with a threaded hole. It looks like this hole runs into the oil galley which leads me to believe maybe the oil pressure sensor goes here? But I can not find anything in my endless boxes of disassembly parts that would fit there. Anyone know? If someone has a picture of that part of the engine I can point out which hole I am speaking of

Also, the opening to the right of the EGR of similar shape, smaller size, that is A.I.R. correct?

Looking at the back of the motor, the hole on the left of the EGR in the block is for the pressure sender... Kinda.

The hole gets a hex shaped elbow, then another hex elbow threads into that, finally the pressure sender gets threaded in and rests at a 90* angle to the intake-to-block sealing flange.

To the right of the EGR? Could you be more descriptive on that one?

It is an opening similar in shape to the EGR. Two bolt holes w/ one hole in the middle. Couple inches to the right of my EGR which I have already blocked off.

Anyone have a picture of this "hex-shaped elbow" or a picture of these parts assembled on the block? Thanks for the help so far, I'm no longer completely clueless

You are correct it is the AIR passage. There is a tube from the exhaust manifold that runs to the back of the manifold.

Cool, glad you got it figured out. And thanks Buffman for posting that pic. Should make it very clear as to what Im calling a 'hex shaped elbow'.
