Default Sombody Help Me!!!

i have bad news...today when i was pulling into work, the "service engine soon" light came on..at 1st it was flashing then it just stayed on...and the car seemed like it was about to die..and there was shaking and it seemed like i twas coming from underneath the car....also while i drove it home, the shift *** seemed like it wanted to "pop out" of gear...the car is very sluggish..can anyone help me as to what this might be? id really apreciate it..some one at work told me that it might be the mass air sensor....but i dont. know thanks guys

check your wires, one of them is toast.

get the SES light checked first, then we can be more direct as to what the problem may be.

your car went on limp mode, get the code checked out. go buy a scanner at auto zone
OBD1 or OBD2, (dont now wahat year you have)
good investment

mines is a 97.....ok..thanks guys..ill go to autozone to get it checked out tomorrow morning..does anyone know if autozone charges for this? thanks again

Sorry to break it to You, but I experienced the same exact problem when My fuel pump was going out. My SES lamp was also blinking, turns out the blinking was to warn of multiple misfires
