you failed to mention it was 10.27 in 1/8th mile. Theres a BIG difference in that and a 1/4.

are u sure it was an 1/8th mile? it said 10.27 at 135 o something. if hes hitting 135 in the 1/8th thats one fast fu@#in car.

look at how close the boards are to the line. There is no way that is a 1/4 mile and there is no way he is running 135.95.

its a 1/4 not an 1/8th....in his other vid, it shows it better...car he was running was in the 10's also. Also in the vids, the timing blocks show the 660 ft and the 1320 clearly.

Sorry, but that is Thunder Valley in Noble, Oklahoma and that number is in the 1/4.

Here's another I like from the first time I ran the car in nearly two years at Tulsa....that's the reason I hit the limiter and it back fires just a little. I lifted on the big end at about 1100ft and still ran a 10.37@125 and change. The opti was dying so it didn't want to idle very well (learned that out when the opti died the next time at the track).

That part of the video is funny now, but at the time it was less so. I was in the car (with a passeger) and my keys are on the roof. I got caught doing a burn out right in front of my friends house. The guy who lived on the 2nd floor was getting the camera to tape the burn out, but instead got a vid of 'some' stupid kid almost getting arrested. The guy scratching his head is the parter of the guy giving me the ticket. We where obviously no threat, so he was killn' time. It's hard to see in that version of the video (mpeg ), but the lights are flashing on the cruzer and the spot light right in the wind shield. Ahh, the good old days...

The name of the song in the old fav is "React, Erick Sermon".

Damn that must have sucked, one of my friends did something similar. Except he had already got out of his car and went into his apartment. We were filming him doing breakstands at the town hall and everywhere else around town. His car was off the road too! No registration no insurance. We got back to his appartment and a few min later a sheriff pulls up and was looking at his car for a long time and then finally gives him only a parking ticket!
