i have heard they are junk... but it could be just the luck of the draw...

do a search there are a lot bad reports about them I was going to get 1 myself but i will probably just go with the GMPP 1 for now.

to be honest... stock isnt that bad... but i have heard of these accels failing quickly...

So what would be the best one from experience or testimony? I was thinking of using the accel too, the msd would be nice but thats a little pricey, unless its garunteed to last a long time. Msd also has just a cap and rotor too don't they?

ive always heard and shops always suggest to use the gm ac delco replacement...if they are so good then why do the **** up all the time...lol.. if i was to buy a new one i think i might try the msd...and why not, they always made good stuff and are known for that stuff...

New GM opti here. I still believe Ed wright is on a Stock Opti. 513rwhp and turns a 9.95 with it @ over 130mph. Why not use a new stock one. Just me

The MSD cap/rotor kit is only about $130 and cures many of the evils of the stock opti.

I have the MSD billet opti and it works great. I also have the MSD coil, 6al, and plug wires..

I have one. It works fine . No problems. Got it from summit. Smooth acceleration. great price. I havent had any problem and i make 645 at the motor. On the bottle.

I'm all about a stock Opti. And I'm not scared to admit to it. I've heard and seen photos of failed aftermarket Opti's. I'll switch over to a coil pack ignition as soon as my current Opti's luck runs out.
