i just wired mine through a relay and to a switch in the car... but you have to make sure you turn the switch on or you will overheat the motor obviously... but i wired mine that way so i could turn my fans and pump on at the track when it was off to cool the engine... some have it wired in to turn on with the key on...
at first i had mine wired to the Air Pump Fuse since it was no longer in use...

Yeah i just removed my AIR also. I was wondering what i could do for a week or so to make it work until i can order a wiring kit with the LED indicator. Could i just tap into the power source for the AIR and ground it out on the block or frame? The pump has an inline fuse in it already but im sure you guys know that. I was just wondering what you guy thought of doing it that way for a temporary fix.

Mine is wired using the "Painless" wiring kit using a relay to a switched source that turns on when the key is on...

I bought a relay kit that has a warning buzzer and a red and green LED light, when is pump is working the green light stays on but when the temp goes over 230 the buzzer turns on and the red LED light comes on.
