LT1s from the olden days
All this talk latley of cars from back in the day that ran good, makes me remember all the bad *** LT1 street cars here in Houston back in the mid/late 90s that got me hooked. Most have changed owners and either turned in to full out race cars or now just torn up peaces of ****. Very very few are still around and still clean. Guess thats just the way it goes oh well.

Yeah, it makes me angry when I go around town and see mexicans running around in the LT1 body style, most however are V6's, but it still pisses me off. But at the same time it makes me feel good when people ask if I have had it painted, I just smile and say.... nope. (even though in my mind it needs it bad, espically around the bumpers)
Lets face it guys, our cars are becoming rare, kinda like a good looking 3rd gen. You just dont see many around these days.
Long live the LT1!!!!

Back in 04' when I was looking to get into an FBody I was still in high school so I had a limited budget. At the time I could afford either a higher mileage LS1 car or a nice LT1 car. And at the time finding an unmolested clean LT1 with lower miles was hard but I happened to stumble across an super clean 49k LT1 so I snatched it up later that week! I wouldn't have it any other way.

Don't worry Neil, Austin is going to have it's share of fast-*** LT1's running around soon.
We've currently got Chopstix (Ray) and Tony Shepard.
Soon my car will be back up with a brand new 396 from Port Pros. Kyle McKenzie is starting a '95 Formula build and Scott Mazoch is slowly making progress on his black '94 Z28.

Long live LT1--- same here they are mostly a 6 cylinder banged up or 8 cylinders that went to Rice land... it's very rare but it's awesome that i'm still keeping mine and taking good care and i'd never let go...

Yeah, he's friend's with Tony. He had a Black '99 TA, it had a ram air hood, but can't remember if it was really a WS6 or not. He sold it about 3 years ago when they were getting ready to have their daughter. Now, after a few years on the bench, Kyle is ready to get back in the game.

I love my Lt1 high miles or not my car still looks and drives amazing, and i just love racing ls1's, mustangs and ricers. I especialy love the people who think my car is slow because it has soo many miles on i. But it is starting to get to the point were i have to step my game up and get into the 11's so i can actualy be fast and stop wasting my time with 13 sec races plus i gotta get back my friend that put some cars on me with his sr20 240sx. Too bad its all a money game.....
