ok i have been trying to figure out why i cant get my trouble code system to work on my 94 z28 setup. i have installed all wiring motor and trans out of a 94 z in my 70 chevelle. ive had this setup for two years now but have never been able to get the diagnostics port to work. when i jump it it does nothing. anybody have any ideas? i hate to not know whats going on with this. please help.

prolly an o2...but youll need to get the diagnostic port working to figure it out...theres a diagram on shoebox's site

Obviously the PCM is up and going, the engine runs okay I pressume? If yes then it is gonna be a class 2 serial data issue, and or a DLC power issue. Check the integrity of your serial data ckt. ( one of the purple w/wht wires at the DLC) from the DLC back to the PCM, if that checks good make sure your scanner is powering up, if that checks good, make sure your scanner works properly on another car.
