Convert to synthetic?
I've been trying to decide whether I should convert my new 355 with only 750 miles on it to Mobile 1. As of right now, it still leaks oil when parked in the garage. I'm wondering if converting to synthetic will make matters worse, or help me benefit in any way. Shed some light for me guys!

^^^ as said above, synthetic will leak more. You could possibly have a totally LEAK-FREE engine and switch to synthetic and wahlaaah! --- now it leaks. Its thinner molecularly and will find places to escape. Also, you shouldn't ever break in a motor on synthetic so I've been told. The logic on that one is that it will do its job TOO WELL and never let your moving parts especially rings seat/break-in properly. I was told its better to run the car at least a 1000+ miles before making that kind of switch.
If I'm wrong about this dont shoot me, I'm just passing on what I've heard/been told.

A synthetic is not thinner. Come on guys dont we all have a big pissing match about this once and a while. Synthetic cleans better than dino. If you truly have a leak free engine going to synthetic, it will remain leak free. A synthetic makes small leaks more noticeable for the above reason, that it cleans better. Washes away any sludge or build up where a leak might be, making it worse.
