Whats up Kory!!

We could build one...I will PM you later, as we want to keep this non-sponsor friendly, and I would rather keep the name of the shop off the boards.

If you are gonna convert a set of conventional smallblock heads, I would use RHS(the old Pro-Action head) Or some old dart 220's(the spread port exhaust) if you can find a set, you are bulding headers anyway.

The T 56 may live, look up "Taner" on this board, he has been low 9's in a heavy streetcar with one. Seems to live fairly well.

There is also a sponsor on here T56 Rebuilds that is building some nice 6 speeds that hold up.

As for the original poster....looks good and thats the biggest cut-out I've ever heard of

Why switch to SBC heads? There are plenty of good LTx heads available.

It's true that there are some better SBC heads available, but I think you can reach the potential of a 76 mm turbo using LTx heads. I'm sure you know this, but you can get all the way up to 230 cc runners and well over 300 cfm for the LTx.

Mike, we are going to run SBC heads so that we can run an efi'd SBC intake...We could modify the intake to fit LT1 heads, but it at this point in the game we are going to switch to SBC heads and then just run regular SBC intakes...

I know we could do it with the LT1 heads, it is just easier for us to run the SBC heads, not to mention cheaper.

Well. . . I happen to have a Victor-EFI intake that's been 90% converted to use on LTx heads. I was going to install it, but then realized that on my combo that peaks at 5800 rpm, it wouldn't do me much good. I'll get off of it for the right price. . .

Nice set up, car should be nasty, sounds like your sticking to a 23* SBC head, you arent exacly limited in choices at all, plnety of great SBC heads, might even be able to pick up a used set for a good price.
