What can the stock Timing chain handle??

What can the stock Timing chain handle?? just curious as to whether I should just go ahead and change the stock timing chain out for a HD GM LT4 one while it's off for the cam swap or if the stock one would hold up.........been thinking it would be a good idea to go ahead and change it while everything is off.
