SES Light
Does an SES light effect times in the 1/4. I ran the 13.4 after doing headers and removing air/egr, so figured it was that. I finally pulled the codes and it was my O2 sensors, both sides (rears have been deleted). Obviously I have new O2 sensors, but would that have had an effect? I'm doing some upgrades on the car now so I can't get out there and find out. Thanks

Usually if a SES Light is on the car is running in a 'limp-mode' of sorts because one or more sensors are not making correct readings. So the car is running off of a table of pre-set values that are safe enough for it to drive until you can get the problem resolved.
If the code is only for the rear O2 sensors, then you'll more than likely just need to grab an O2 sim and you'll be fine.

It's for the front O2 sensors, the rears were deleted through a mail order tune. I have the new stuff, just wondering if that effected my 1/4 mile time when they were on. Does it matter at WOT?
