Default LT1/LT4 Info needed...

before you start yelling "SEARCH THE FORUMS" at me, i did, and couldnt find what i was looking for. ive seen dyno numbers nearing 370rwhp for the LT1 with an LT4 conversion. the last time my car was on the dyno, i got just under 330. now, after swapping in a new PCM, its back at a shop to get a new tune. what kind of number should i expect to see?

335-350

I don't think your going to see 370 with a hot cam and stock LT4 heads. However, I hope you do!

No way you will see 370 on stock LT4s and a HOT cam. The engine dyno no accessory dyno tune claimed numbers for it are just 425fwhp as installed in a car will be less than that and then take away drivetrain losses.

Accel injectors were absolute junk for a LONG time, recently I have heard a single report they finally got a decent supplier, good luck.

Big thing you have to look at is that you have a 12 bolt not a factory 10 bolt, lot of the big dno numbers from set ups similar to yours are from 10 bolt six speed cars. Your going to have higher drivetrain loss.

Do you have headers/exhaust on there?

I made 348hp on mine, similar setup through the stock 10 bolt. I did pull 365hp with an open exhaust and no accessory belt.

So the only thing you've done, since your "just under 330" dyno run, is do a PCM swap?
If the previous PCM was already tuned, then it won't be much more.

yeah, the pcm was tuned, but i dont know anything about the guys that did the tune, including who and where. so it may have been a junk tune, i really dont know.

hooker long tubes and mufflex's 4" system.

if i put down about 350rwhp, i would be VERY happy.

With a good tune and a block that's not too tired, 350rwhp should be possible. Good luck.
