496 ina 94 Z?? Okay, a friend of mine is selling his newly built 496 big block...i was wondering how hard it would be to adapt it to fit into my 94 Z28....i would appreciate any and all help guys....if it will work im gonna buy the engine and hopefully hase a badass little car.

There is a guy in the area where I live that has a 502 stuffed in a Camaro. I looked under the hood, didn't look too bad. He did a lot of fabbing of bracketry/sheetmetal to do the retrofit, but not all of it was for the motor(its an 8 or 9 second drag car with a 6724 point roll cage, which explains a lot of the fabbing).

i've even seen a 572 in a 98+ body (which has less room under the hood). i've got a 94 and its possible, just drop the entire motor and k member together and put the 496 on it and fab as u go.
