so i work at a powder coating shop i have a stock 95 lt1 intake am going to powder coat and sell ... what color would sell the best and what price

first and foremost, I vote AGAINST red. Its like pretending to be an LT4 intake then. I voted other for the poll. I say make it the same color as the block whatever that might be.

im with hyperzone if it is not an LT$ intake dont fake it. i vote black because thats the color of my car. i think it should be whatever color the car is.

Why don't you sell it as a custom color intake? Let the buyer choose the color. Might try ebay. I painted mine black and it doesn't get any hotter than the stock intake. I think the actual thickness of the powder coat will affect temps more than the color since it's pretty thick.

just trying to get some feedback so i can sell it quick so if some one has the money and wants the color of there car i do it and sell it.......the temps will rise some colors are laid on thicker than others ......i might just do a candy apple red so the lt4 guys dont get mad lol

Then I'd say regular red since that seems to be the most popular color.

Yep and someone does that on E-bay. Options are good when selling something.

Eh, Just my opinion again but, there's gotta be something else that matches whatever color your doing it. I mean, it the block was blue or the paint on the car was blue that would look okay. But, it being the ONLY blue thing on the car, would be a little (IMO)

like u have a balck car with chrome z28 elbelms and stuff then make it mirror chrome just match the intake with what your whole color scheme is for your car.
