what would it take to run 9's with a 396 lt1 M6?

Default what would it take to run 9's with a 396 lt1 M6?

i was thinking a 396 and alot of nitrous,but after looking at some old issues of gm high tech i realize it might take more. i would like to hear some of your 1/4 and 1/8 mile times with a 396.

Naw jusy make it light. Mine is 3,620 and traction is the only thing holding me back from a nine second pass I am just a 380 with a 200 shot

You trying to do this all motor?, Im assuming your going power adder for this. If it were me I would get an n2o kit and spray and pray.

like twofast said traction and weight are the two biggest things.

to run 9's w/a M6 will take IMO ~700rwhp....

Auto's can do it with less power.....

It all depends on your chassis/suspension. 396s can make over 500rwhp. With a lightened car and an all out drag setup you can get very close to 9s on with as little as 520rwhp.
