Brackets on Motors, to Spray paint or not!?!?
Do you guys spray can your front brackets black or do you have it powder coated.. I really dont have the money to get **** powder coated.. If you guys spray Can it let me see some pics!

just remember if you try powdercoating anything, YOU NEED A SPARE OVEN, NOT THE ONE YOU COOK WITH!!! Otherwise you'll ruin the oven.
Besides those DIY kits aren't the best anyways. They'll powdercoat just fine, but they dont use the best materials, etc. There's a reason some people can charge what they charge for Pcing, because they know what they're doing, they use superior coating media, and their end products are outstanding.

I powder coated my brackets on my last engine swap. Installed the engine and couldn't even get it to run well enough to get it tuned, electrical issues. After a ton of brain racking I figured out that the coated brackets were insulating the alternator and was causeing a major voltage problem. So my recommendation it have them coated but before install clean where everything makes contact..
