Default HELP ASAP Possible Scam

Hello All: I need your help asap.... I won a valvetrain kit off of ebay item #320074938495 and I emailed the seller a few times to get more infromation and something doesn't seem right. I first emailed him about parts, the auction said that ALL the parts were Comp. parts and so I asked about the guideplates to find out if they were GMPP or Comp and he quickly replied saying he wasn't sure (weird). Then I email again and then he said he wasn't sure if the rockers were Comp either, he said they might be GM?????? So after the fact that I won the item, I told him that that was BS and I am not paying for something that he doesnt know where the parts are from AND lied in the auction. Then he emailed me back saying he check and saw "CC" on them and reasured me that they were Comp parts but said he understood if I did not want to go through with the transaction. Can you guys/girls tell from the pics if they are actually Comp parts or not???? Please help it would be a good deal if they are, but something doesn't seem right? Thanks Aaron

That's all comp stuff. The comp studs are actually ARP, so they're good. Only thing is you can't run those guideplates. Many people have had problems with them not aligning the rockers correctly. You have to use GMPP guideplates.

I'm still surprised you paid that much for used valvetrain parts. He may not even have 1.6 rockers. Those look like chromemoly pushrods, but it's hard to tell.
