Default Help MAF Problem

Just when you think you've got em running right, it comes back to bite you in the A**

Anyway, the idle starts fluxuating up and down between 500 and 1000 and wanting to stay near the lower and then she was stalling out at every stop. Plus it had a P0140 code.

I think I need a new MAF

Would you all agree that is the problem?

I would check the wires with a multimeter. They cost too much money to make a mistake. Or uplug it to see what happens.

Speaking of MAF, anyone ever seen a Z06 MAF on any one of these cars? I guess they have a bigger inside diameter.

Well it is not the MAF. I swapped in a new one with no improvement (I will return it in the morning)

I may have read the code wrong. I read the description which was Volume air flow. Now I need it to throw the code again, but she won't idle.

I gotta figure this out by tomorrow morning. Lets she I washed it and thats when it started acting up (I can here the opti screams now) it ran fine in the morning. gave me some hassle at lunch, looked under the hood restarted it and it ran fine. drove home ran fine until after I got gas started acting up again. I am thinking that something is loose.
