header questions.....

header questions..... I have a LT-1 in a 1986 chevy short wide.
After talking with summit racing, I bought a set of headers that will fit into the truck and bolt up without having to worry about the tubes hitting the spark plugs. They are Hedmann's and are black painted.
Now for the questions...
Im going to be sending the headers to Airborn Coatings in OKC to get them aluminum ceramic coated inside and out. So before i send them in, Would it be ok to go ahead and weld in O2 buns on each header so that i dont end up having to do a heated O2 conversion?
If so how far away from the header flange should I place the buns? And does it matter what cylinder exhaust tube i use??
