The plate cooler will always be better. Don't forget to still go through the radiator trans cooler. I use Earls coolers for trans and oil.

The plate style are more efficient and an overall better cooler thent he tube & fin style... B&M has good ones, but they are made by tru-cool and are just rebranded as B&M, I went and looked for the tru-cool cooler directly and it costed a little less...
