Ok, My friend has got a 07 mustang gt (manual tranny) and his best time is a 13.2 with just a cai and a tune. Mine is a 13.3 with the stuff in my sig. However i just a 3000 stall from yank so that should put me back on top for a while but in May my friend is getting a saleen twin-screw supercharger which would put him into the 11's. So can i keep up with him if i get like the eport works stage 2 heads/cam package or the 185cc street/strip heads/cam package from advanced induction?

That's why I am planning on dropping a 408 LS6 built from a 6.0l Ironblock in to my 95 Z, and still weigh 3230lbs area. I built the Wiring Harness, Tuesday I will find out if it will work.
If it does..GAME ON!!

That will help and may bring you close, but it still may not be enough. If your friend is adding a twin screw supercharger and he's already pushing a 13.2 Sounds like he can drive, my guess is that he will be running very low 11.s And anyone who knows anything about superchargers knows that in order to get maximum power you need to change your exhaust starting with headers. If he does that and adds a good tune you can forget it. Like someone else said you will need to dig deeeeeeep into your pocket book to keep up with him at that point. Good luck.

do the heads & cam then put A NX kit on the car you will make tq and hp,I have a hard time seeing him running low 13s.what are is mods because it sounds quick for a new mustang. there was one at the track with a 100 shot of NO2 and he was only running a 14.2 in the 1/4.I have a real hard time seeing him running low 11's with supercharger. it hard for the cobra's to run to the 11,'s My buddys cobra with 443hp can only run in the 12's

with tires your converter and a 150 shot you will be around 11.70-11.80's if he still beats you add heads and a cam

The new stangs are slow, I can't see one running 13.2 with just a CAI and a tune. Unless ford is really being careful with the tune from the factory.

I was at the track with him and saw it. However he misses third a lot (he blames "torque lock"). His times rang from a 16.0 - 13.2 he is not very consistant lol.

an intake and tuned GT running 13.2 is scary if this is true then us stock LS1 owners better watch out

There must be more done to that car, there is no way it is running low 13's with just a tune, that is a big car and they only make 300hp at the fly. that would be like having a LT1 running low 13's with just a tune, anyone that has a LT1 will tell you that it is impossible.

well he has a tune, cai, and underdrive pullies (which i helped put on). At about 100mph he always starts to pull on me then just starts to walk away from me. Its an 07 gt california special with a 5 speed manual tranny. The little 281 in that thing has to spin up to about 4k to make any power but once it does it hauls.

I dont't see it running a 13.2 with just those mods either but, if you seen it and you helped install his mods. it must be real. I heard some mustang guys at work talking about the new mustang a local guy in Jacksonville modded at a place called HP Performance. He did headers, exhaust, CAI, Underdrives, and a tune and it only picked up something like 13 hp. For thirteen hundred dollars of modding. It seems fishy to me. That particualr mustang on run like a 13.60 from what I hear. This was wtih a professional driver.

I've seen the new GT's run 13.9x's stock!!!! or at least they seemed stockish.....
